Proper maintenance and efficient operation of modern boilers and cooling towers depend on careful control of water quality and treatment chemicals. Hydrazine is commonly used as an oxygen scavenger and bacteriocide in high pressure boiler feed water.

This hydrazine test kit supports routine monitoring of hydrazine concentration to determine when replenishment is needed. Regular testing helps optimize dosing and minimize excessive ammonia formation. Using the color disc method, the kit measures hydrazine over a range of 0.02 to 1 mg/L and includes reagents for 300 tests.
